Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams, Cristopher Walken, Isla Fisher, Jane Seymour, Bradley Cooper

The 16-year-old title, I first looked at it this year. Reasons?

O.Wilson is a great actor, but I’m not always in the mood for his appearance and style of acting.

Another reason, perhaps the main one – the title always sounded to me like ‘wedding ruiners’, which (again said) with O.Wilson in the lead role didn’t seem promising.

What a mistake to make !

Maybe one more reason is – I overlooked the director’s name? David Dobkin has a solid number of famous titles in various genres. His directing included “Change Up” and “R.I.P.D.” with R.Reynolds, as well as “The Judge” with Downey Jr. He was also involved in the production of G.Ritchie’s “King Arthur” and “Man From U.N.C.L.E.” Regarding my taste – all great movies !

In this fun-type movie, we watch two best friends, a womanizers, visiting weddings uninvited. Well-crafted tactics and cleverly conceived stories, they are winning the sympathies of guests and celebrants, eat and drink for free and at the end of the day go home with the girls (preferably for one night).

But according to the theory of probability, one of them had to meet a ‘special’ girl at one of the weddings, with whom he didn’t want to spend just one night.

In order for things to get a little complicated, and more hilarious – his sympathy has a sister who is mesmerized by his friend and ‘colleague’, who must now stay at the party for collegial purpose, against the will and their stag ‘rules’.

Wilson/Vaughn are powerfull tandem, C.Walken standard genius, Rachel McAdams adorable (from the same period she recorded “The Notebook”), and Isla Fisher too… A team of actors who were promising at the beginning, and to the end completely fulfilled expectations.
