Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes, Idris Elba, Violante PlacidoChristopher Lambert

All of us who grew up with his films certainly won’t agree with the comments of critics who underestimate and disparage N.Cage’s acting. This is a very good opportunity to deny such statements.

I will emphasize that we are only talking about one of 100 (and a couple more) of his achievements, while still in the genre of entertaining type. And how many more serious titles in Cage’s career…

And I’ll emphasize more — we’re talking about the first sequel when I glorify both acting and story and effects. The second part is kind of out of the way, it touches a little bit into the elements of the parody, which takes away all these aforementioned values.

They say ‘beauty is in the details’, and in comic book screenings like this especially. Almost every detail that made the origin Ghost Rider ‘wow’ somehow disappeared, transforming the look of the ‘rider’ and the fiery skull also degraded.

I will give ‘credits’ to the change of directors, who have managed to make such a different (read – weaker) sequel with the same main role, and the fundamentally unchanged story, and devalue the art of acting first and foremost.

If we want to see a little parody with the action, we have an equally good ‘Drive Angry’ on the same subject. Also Cage, again the devil’s servant, a great cast of actors and unrealistically crazy action (like ‘Shoot ‘Em Up’).

In this case, there was no need to unnecessarily exaggerate in ‘letting the imagination go wild’. Because of that, the cult status of the film was ruined.
